What cannot be affirmed, cannot be denied.

We are free to disavow our own words and disown every single act we commit.  We kiss off our loves, our dreams, our past, our possessions.  We disown our families, if we must.  Abandon our party or our faith, if we should.  But, never, I believe, should we attempt to disavow our own unconscious.   It is the only realm where truth and falsehood might ever be reconciled.

Because it is only within our unconscious where “we” in our entirety truly exist. Nowhere else. Certainly not in the physical realm.

Thanks for the comment! I agree 100% with your first sentence. However, who knows if our conscious and unconscious reside in the “physical realm,” or not?
