Ken I give you a lot of credit for generally designing speakers that were reasonable amplifier loads. However, your speaker simulator follows a similar pattern and that limits its usefulness and realism. FWIW I studied modern commercial speakers and came up with a speaker simulator that is about twice as tough. About half the minimum impedance, and about twice the phase shift. Others have independently done similar things, and came up with similar results.

      OK, thanks.

But, really, designing a dummy load is entirely trivial… it takes a couple of minutes. I have designed and built dozens of different loads for dozens of different purposes. The one shown here is exactly what I wanted for the intended use… I would think that would be rather obvious.
